Both state and federal governments make grants available to a wide range of groups and, in limited circumstances, to individuals.

Grant programmes are often influenced by government priorities and vary from time to time.  For the most up to date information on grants that may be suitable for your organisation, please use the links below.

Applying for a Grant?

If you are applying for a grant to support a programme or activity that will benefit the Burdekin electorate, please remember that Dale can:

Please contact the office with the details of your organisation’s application and how your project will benefit the Burdekin electorate.  Due to Dale's commitments, please provide as much notice as possible to ensure your application is not delayed.

Queensland Flags

Most organisations and not-for-profit or community groups, are eligible for a free Queensland flag and, where possible, Dale would be honoured to present the flag at your meeting or event.

Those eligible include schools, tertiary institutions, Scouts, youth organisations, service associations such as Rotary and Lions, welfare and ethnic organisations, sporting clubs, historical societies, museums, show societies, local fire brigades etc.

Australian, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Flags

These flags are provided free of charge at the discretion of Federal Members of Parliament and Senators.  Dale would be more than happy to request a flag on your behalf and, if necessary, present the flag on behalf of the relevant Federal Member or Senator.
